Netflix: Stranger Things 3 -

Good Vibes Festival

Launching the latest season of Stranger Things

To launch season 3 of Stranger Things, Jack Morton Singapore was tasked to create a pop-up activation in the heart of Good Vibes Festival Genting — a music festival that garners over 30,000 festival-goers yearly. Besides introducing new fans to the season, the activation would reward loyal fans with sneak peaks and tons of freebies.

Welcome to the Upside-down

Festival-goers go to Good Vibes in search of a break; an escape from the stresses of their everyday life into music, fun and entertainment. We drew the conclusion that there’s no better way to escape real life than into the Upside-Down! Drawing on the global phenomenon that is Stranger Things, we packaged the highlights of all ST seasons and brought the Upside-Down to the unsuspecting crowd.

Escape the everyday into the Upside-Down.

Hawkins in the Highlands

Capturing 3 seasons worth of Hawkin’s best moments, we littered the experience with iconic scenes that any ST fan would know. From the Byer’s living room in Season 1 to the ‘Mad Max’ palace arcade in Season 2 and Starcourt Mall in Season 3, we recreated 5 insta-worthy backdrops that promised the perfect weekend escape into the Upside-Down.

Promised freebies at every turn, guests lined up to try beating the high scores of nostalgic ‘80s arcade games including the one-of-a-kind Stranger Things: The Game.

Guests were also treated to a spectacle of ST3 fan art by Penang-born featured artist Lyn Hui and many talented artists from around the world, through a live exhibition, exclusive merchandise and Instagram gif packs.

Done during my time at Jack Morton Worldwide. Involved in the initial creative ideation.
